Membership has its privileges!

As a member of the Newton Lake Association, you can enjoy fishing our pristine waters. However, as a private lake, it is still required that members follow all rules and regulations set forth by the PA Fish and Boat Commission which means that anyone over the age of 16 must carry a current Pennsylvania Fishing License. 

The NLA aggressively patrol our shores to ensure that the fishing stays within our community. Our Bass policy is currently "Catch & Release". Violators face penalties, patricularly non-NLA members who also face trespassing charges if caught fishing on Newton Lake. If you are aware of someone trespassing please contact one of our NLA Board Members immediately!

"No Wake" boating takes effect at Sunset (please note the time posted each day on the module below), ensuring that those who fish in the evening can enjoy calm waters for the last remaining bit of daylight.
