The Newton Lake Association (NLA) is a non-profit organization that manages the Newton Lake community. The NLA purchased the lake itself, the boat launch area, and also the beach, so now all of these assets are jointly owned by members of the Association. The NLA is governed by a Board of Directors and appoints committees with a chairman to oversee specific items that pertain to the lake and the community. There are twelve board members, and three directors are elected/re-elected annually. Once elected, each director serves a three year term.
